Following up on my previous review,,,, things has turned for worse.
When we finally received the furnitures, we opened the boxes(yes we have to put it together ourselves, just like IKEA even though we pay so much more), we had no screws.
We then had to rang few numbers and kept waiting for 20min to speak to a customer service person who told us it will be another week until they can send us the missing screws.
We demanded it to be posted express, which they did. Only to find out that the dining tables DON'T ASSEMBLE TOGETHER AT ALL!!! I just got off the phone with their customer service person and had to DEMAND someone to come out and put it together for us.
Even though I expressed my unhappiness to the girl on the phone I received NO apologies for the great inconvenience caused by their company. Lets hope they'll send someone out with new leg parts soon, or we will be returning everything back!
We were told 7 weeks until our delivery, and it is now 14 weeks from when we purchased and was told this morning that we are getting our delivery tomorrow.
Meanwhile, we had to chase them to find out what is going on and was told it will arrive in "2 days time" initially, then "one more week" then "another week" only to not hear from them again for 2 more weeks.
When the first guy said to us it will arrive in 2 days time, the furnitures weren't even in the country!!! How appaling that they think they can get away with such a thing!
We got NO apologies from any of the staff we spoke to, all of them just gave us excuse and blamed suppliers. Suppliers may be the cause of the delay but we bought it from BLR and expect at least an sincere apologies without excuses.
I am experienced enough to understand sometimes things go wrong. But I expected much better customer service and more.
Very disappointed.
