Had lunch at BBQ City. It was reasonably busy but service was prompt and food was delivered quickly. We had the 2 assortment and chose duck and roast pork. Both were succulent with crispy skins. One person had the shredded duck soup which was delicious. The bok choy and mushrooms were yummy but the best dish (for me) was the salt and pepper eggplant. Noticed the comments about the cleanliness of the restaurant - if the level of cleanliness was low it wasn't readily apparent to me.

i usually dine here at least once a week, but was so disappointed that when ordering scallops in the shell with ginger and shallots i was given 6 containers with oil and ginger and shallots. Returning to the venue with a new cashier was informed i wasn't charged for the scallops, but u did charge me for whatever u gave me and also the extra time and effort returning the unwanted oil to the restaurant, will never b returning to this venue.

    poor service...
with mains arriving at different times.
busy eatery leading to limit customer service.

    the food tasted were average.
with the roast dishes below par when compared with other
    restaurants in the district.

Pretty much agree with the other comments, food and prices are brilliant with a bit of a letdown in service (not unusual for half the table to get mains as other still getting entrees and the like) but really this isnt the sort of place you go to for that. I eat here a couple of times a week and have never left dissapointed.

Great food with fast and efficient service. Dont expect anything flash but this gives you the feel of a busy traditional eatery from Asia in the sleepy city of Adelaide. The rule of thumb is, wait until you are really hungry to really enjoy the food here! If you are stuck for choice, my personal favourite is the BBQ Pork and Rice, tasty and a bargain at only $8.00!
p.s. If you are really brave, why not try their chilli oil!

Good food, served quickly. I've been there about 10 times and haven't waited longer than about 5 minutes between ordering and eating. Cheap and easy. Definitely worth a quick bite.

The food is affordable and the taste is marvellous. The atmosphere is wonderful but however, service could do with a slight improvement. Their roast pork is worth dying for - definitely have a go and you will not regret it!

This place is alot of fun to eat at. The food is pretty basic but there's lots of it and plenty of variety. The staff are pretty rushed and do not communicate alot. The hustle and bustle of the place means that it's not ideal for a relaxed meal but it does make it fun! Beware: you will come away smelling like a BBQ!
