What was once an Irish bar has been reinvented as a laid-back, relaxed Aussie beach house, apt given it’s one minute from the sand. A casual beachside air is created through the clever use of beach timbers, cane chairs, lounges and fish net curtains. Enjoy lunch specials or even better, order the Wagyu cheese burger with crispy bacon and a generous serve of ‘real’ chips. There’s also duck and scallop spring rolls, pizzas and the best of the sea and grill, all overseen by amiable owner, Boris Brticevich, and his friendly staff.

Another waitress came and, after we placed our orders, asked about the water a third time. She brought it.

The drinks list offers a mix of Australian and New Zealand wines from popular labels such as Devil's Lair, Lindemans and Saltram. Most whites are available by the glass, and a good choice of reds is also served by the glass.
