Great cafe loved by locals, one of best breakfast brioches you'll ever get.
Lots of outdoor seats and tables and kid friendly surroundings.
There is also free wifi so you can do a bit of work or online shopping while you wait and relax.
  • I used to be a regular here but the coffee has really gone down hill in the past 4-5 months and there is a high turn over of staff. Definitely won't bw returning here after my most recent experiences.

With a name like this I simply had to try them. Amazing coffee menu! I had no idea there was such a range if techniques for brewing etc. luckily I was with some very experienced coffee connoisseurs who chose for me.
Only downside was that it was a little tight and not very pram / stroller friendly. But that is prob not their regular clientele so understandable.
  • Possibly the best little coffee shop I have found. Friendly service, fantastic coffee, consistently good coffee.
  • These guys are passionate about coffee and it shows. The mainly vego menu boasts a coffee menu as long as their food menu and with good reason. Not only can you pick your bean but you can also pick for a host of different brew techniques some of which I'd never heard of. You can also sit at their coffee bar and try a range of different beans or ask the barista to make you something thats a crowd pleaser. If there arent any tables there's always the option of bringing a rug and sitting on the grass, where they will bring you out your food and/or coffee. My coffee was perfection, I'm so happy Bean Drinking is walking distance from my place.
  • Not so impressed by the place. It was good but just that. Although the coffee was not bad at all, the guys seemed like they were working without any kind of interest in us. I may come back if I'm in the neighborhood and I'd expect a better welcoming.
  • Awesome experience! I like their little tables by the fountain and the waiting staff is behaving appropriately and are friendly to all of their customers. The coffee is great and I can easily recommend it to everyone in the area.

I loved the look of this place - very eco chic and spacious. My partner had a mocha which he said was fantastic. I had a pot of tea which was lovely, albeit it a bit 'leafy'. I would definitely go back, but perhaps sit inside instead.

Massive Massive Coffee's which as much a good thing as it's "Been Drinking" downfall.

Every time we try and get a drink or table here, I have to compete with the single people on their laptops, taking up a whole table sipping on their coffee for the last 5 hours.

When you can get a seat, "Been drinking" is great. Nice big strong coffees, free wiFi if thats your thing, nice booths, and awesome opening hours. And not smelling stale beer smell.

    Yep- I've Bean drinking...
    ...and it was worth it!
Found this place using Foursquare and saw all the great photos and reviews. We then check their website to see that these guys don't just make coffee; they live it! We were so intrigued by their coffee contraptions such as the 'Coffee Lab' and the 'Slayer' that we went there straight away. Basking in the warm winter morning sunshine we ordered coffee and a light sandwich breakfast. The place was humming with young families, chatting friends and even tail wagging dogs :) The atmosphere was relaxed and the service was great. Most importantly, the coffee was pretty amazing. We ordered a Skim Cap and a Slayer expresso- both were text book perfect. THis may be our new Saturday Morning hang out. Looking forward to the weekend!
