    They said they make all of their own foods and cakes, then i see them get a cake from a box :/ Cafe was very quiet with no real atmosphere, coffee was burnt, lady behind the counter just kept talking. I have had a better experience in canungra.... (down the roa a bit...)

      The cakes that are brought in boxes are from our wonderful local lady who bakes all the gluten free range. As we DO bake our own cakes, we can not be sure that any cross contaminaton may occur. I'm sorry you didn't enjoy your experience, I love the coffee and the atmosphere, the staff are great and always happy. I am very lucky to have such a great team with me and also very proud of them all. Please tell us if you are not happy with anything, we would always do our best to fix the problem.

    Best cafe in the scenic rim. Coffee is by far the best locally. The Amore blend is smooth and bold.
    The staff are welcoming and very efficient. This cafe caters for all types- gluten free, vegetarian, and the extraordinary selection of cakes is wonderful.
    I have had both lunch and breakfast at this cafe and have been very impressed with the food quality, and price. Wouldn't stop anywhere else in Canungra.

    the girls and guys at Bean In are the coolest people around and the coffee is better then fantastic. if you ever want a nice drive go to canungra and visit them. i go there most days and have never walked out with out a smile on my face. keep up the good work! oh and try there creme bu lay coffee Yum!

    This is without a doubt the best cafe I have been on the eastern seaboard. Comparatively, the coffee served at the Bean In is distinctly fresher and more robust than any others I have frequented in the last decade. The barristas are accomplished and have an excellent understanding if thier trade.. And the food is wonderful..!
    The coffee used ( Amore ) is a balanced blend and has a strong and vibrant flavor.
    Places like this are rare - and the service, coffe and food make it the best I've seen since I lived in Europe...!

    There’s character aplenty within the walls of this quaint café, which feels like home the moment you walk in. There’s also character aplenty behind the counter where owner, Sonya van Gent, has won over this country town with her bubbly personality and home-style food made on the premises and plated in an old-school setting. You’ll be in no rush to leave when you spot the desserts, either.
