I got a voucher from Deals.com for Christmas; I called up as soon as the store opened back up. So I had been eagerly waiting for 3months. when I got there all seemed well I waited for not even 5mins before I was taken to a little room to get changed into a robe and G-string then I was taken to the 'wet area', which was filthy grime and rubbish everywhere to have my body scrub and body wrap which I believe was meant to go for a hour, it all went for about 20mins then I was rushed across the hall (NAKED) to the steam shower which had mould on the taps and corners( instead of relaxing I was thinking of how much I wanted to grab a tooth brush and clean it) where I was given one tiny cup of water I had no idea how long I was meant to be in there for, all I know is my throat is still burning from it. After that I showered myself off and sent into the room to the left to dry myself then was sent for my massage, which was not good at all. I was talked all the way through it and told about feeling poo in people stomach. After that I had to take my things to the facial area where I got a Mani and pedi done at the same time as my facial, which I never got. my mani and pedi were terrible,I felt so awkward that the staff doing my pedi, which I had my knees up with a towel over me, might see my yoohoo. I would NEVER EVER suggest anyone go here. terrible place. very dirty.

My mother and I have just returned from our 3 hour summer spa package, and both of us feel horrible! Firstly, I was left waiting for 15 minutes at the start of my treatment. Then I was rushed into the body scrub room, where I didn't get scrubbed, just was slathered hastily with mud stuff. Then I was ushered across the hallway naked, into the steam room, where my surprised mother was also sitting. Both of us felt rather humiliated and awkward, seeing as we were naked. We are both quite private with our bodies and to be shoved into the steam room so hastily together was really quite unsettling. We joked about it at the time but this experience should be a peaceful and relaxing one, not a stressful one! Following the steamroom, we both experienced numerous stressed and rushed staff, who often swapped and changed during treatment. My facial was painful, the pedicure and manicure were sloppy and by the time the body massage took place, I just wanted to get out of there. I DO NOT recommend this salon, and I suggest that the management take a good long hard look at their staff and management style. Never again!!

I went to Beaubelle recently on an OurDeal voucher for massage, facial, body wrap, mani and pedi.

I was not impressed from the start even thought I had told them when I called to book that I did not want their body exfoliation upgrade, they still tried to sell it to me when I first arrived. After declining their offer for upgrade again, I was then left waiting for 20 minutes in the foyer with no magazine or anything until the staff came to take me through for my body wrap. I was taken to a cubicle with a massage table and asked to put on a robe and g-string. The robe absolutely STANK, it had clearly not been washed freshly, and also in the cubicle there was a used disposable g-string on the floor eewwww!. There was no privacy during the wrap, the staff plastered it on to me in 30 seconds flat and then sent me for a steam shower with the rest of the mud to finish it myself .. it was very uncomfortable being made to walk naked to another room for a shower in front of other people!!

I then had a full body massage which was the best part of the experience, but definitely not the best massage I;ve ever received but after that was again left for 10-15 minutes in the smelly cubicle before being taken through to another room with really bright lights and little privacy for my facial. My facial was very disappointing, basically just a face wash and one mask no facial massage or anything. They tried again to upsell me dermabrasion which I did not want. Plus the staff doing my facial disappeared no less than 8 TIMES during the procedure to answer the phone and to have private conversations with the management which I could clearly hear!! Very unprofessional indeed and certainly not the relaxed atmosphere I was hoping for.

The mani/pedi was disappointing the staff pulled my cuticles so hard and then simply applied the polish no buffing etc that you would usually expect. The polish has already chipped so badly that I had to remove it obviously very cheap product!

After that I was taken to another room to a comfy chair and waited 20 minutes with no idea what was happening and with REALLY bad magazines to read. Really if this is meant to be relaxing at least get a few relevant and recent magazines in to read! I was then given a samosa, spring roll and tea, which was nice, but halfway through having my refreshments the staff came in and did my manicure so that I had to leave my tea and food which went cold.

They then left and after 10 minutes as no one came to see me or tell me what was happening so I just walked out of the place. No $50 return voucher was offered to me, even though it stated so in the deal not that I would come back anyway.

I was appalled with the service or lack there of I received when I visited Beaubelle 2 weeks ago for the following deal I purchased from deals.com.au.

Winter Special! Indulgent THREE HOUR Day Spa Experience! Only $79 for a 60 MINUTE Full Body Massage, 60 MINUTE Facial, Full Body Scrub, Manicure, Pedicure and a $50 Voucher towards a Facial. Plus Enjoy Light Refreshments. Valued at $430 from Beaubelle Beauty Clinic International in Northbridge.

    My concerns as follows.

When I phoned to make the appointment everything was fine, I was asked if I wished to pay additional money to upgrade my treatments to which I responded no. When I arrived at the salon I was greeted by a nice employee who took me through and advised me to get changed into the robe and provided underwear for my body scrub. I was then met by another staff who took me to a room for my body scrub. From here it went downhill. My body scrub lasted maybe 4 minutes, I was advised to get onto a bed practically naked and had some scrub hastily rubbed onto my body and then hosed down. I have had body scrubs before and NEVER have I had an experience like this how one can be completed in such a rush and so unprofessionally I am not sure. I was then given a towel and had to dry in front of the staff. I was then made to walk in wet underwear in nothing but a towel to the front of the store. Following this I was given another towel and got to lie in almost open booths in wet underwear and nothing but a towel for my facial. I was then told all the things wrong with my skin and what I needed to purchase (I have lived with my skin for 28 years, I realise it isnt perfect), I felt pushed into upgrading. I then explained that I had microdermabrasion before and it didnt work for me and I wouldnt buy it again and for the next 10 minutes all I was told was how poor the person that attended the service must have been and how much better you were. Im not silly, I did research before I spent $1000 on micro and I went to a highly reputed and recommended practitioner it just didnt work for me. You do not get additional business by bagging out other professionals that is unprofessional. Then the $25 mask I paid extra for was slapped on with a brush and I was left while it cured. Apart from this my facial was 2 quick washes, a slapped on mask and removed I have had facials before this was not a facial. I could not have felt more like the staff had somewhere else to be.

During my facial I had my pedicure. My pedicure consisted of having my toenails (already short) clipped to the skin and then an attempt to file the little nail that was left. My old nail polish wasnt even removed this was the entire pedicure all the while I was told to bend my knees and put my feet flat on the bed while wearing only a towel and wet disposable underwear needless to say I felt disgusted.

The only saving grace was when I was taken through for my massage by another staff who was excellent, I did not feel rushed, they explained everything and provided an excellent service by this point I was so upset that it took me 45mins to calm down and only enjoyed 15mins. My THREE HOUR day spa experience was over in approx. 2.15 hours and to be honest I was glad.

To make matters worse I decided to wait until my friend attended her visit before I wrote to complain, she did not have a bad experience but had a different therapist. She described her proper pedicure/manicure, 20min body scrub (at which she did also feel uncomfortable, but at least she was not rushed through in 4 minutes) gentle facial with facial massage and 2 masks, proper cleanse moisturiser etc. She felt the only reason she was not pressured to purchase additional products was when she was asked at first she declined saying she had no money, but was also told she could purchase later. How can a business be so inconsistent?

Neither one of us were offered our $50 facial vouchers and will not be returning. What should have been a treat for myself has left me feeling upset and quite angry.

The things that disappoints me is that customer service costs nothing and neither does taking time. I have purchased several voucher for various deal sites and have not had a problem, in fact my last day spa deal n Willetton was excellent and I thoroughly enjoyed my experience.

And finally, the salon could not even be bothered to respond to my complaint.

Went to this place with a deals.com.au voucher. i paid $59 for $500 of IPL skin rejuvenation. They straight away tried to upsell the deal to the tune of $900. When i advised them that i didn't have $900 to spend on my skin they tried to sell me 2 x microdermabrasion treatments for $140. This is despite them writing on my form that because i had broken capillaries i wasn't a good candidate for it. I pointed out their error and they got very short and snippy telling me that there were different strengths. When they realised that they couldn't sell me anything they made my booking for me and couldn't get me out the door fast enough. Obviously i am a bit worried about this and may just cop the $59 on the chin...

I too went to this place with a deal.com voucher and this was definintely by far the rudest beauty salon i had ever been too, the staff was rude on the phone and then kept me waiting for over half an hour and then proceeded to try and sell me extra IPL which included all these package deals, of course I said no and once i said no it was like the staff couldn't wait to get me out the door. I definitely would not recommend this place!!

i also got one of the vouchers that you are talking about and when i went there i too was very sceptical about buying more ipl - however i went home and did a bit of my own research and decided to push on with the treatment as i had already paid for my voucher and im really glad i did because my skin looks fantastic now. All the concerns i had where quite similer to yours however i am now very happy my programe and will definatley continue to have my treatment there. I suggest that people should always be self informed and researched before undergoing any treatments and not expect quick fixes.
