We are extremely particular with our 4 legged child's care, so we were elated when we found the folks at Belgrave South. We had just come from a horrible situation with another area vet and we were very impressed with this clinic. The staff is wonderful and patient, the vets are fabulous.....knowledgeable, patient, and clever; we totally trust the care of our little one with the doctors and staff here, and we are fortunate to have such amazing help for sick babies so close by :0)
I'm fussy pet owner and when i it comes to my pets health i am very particular about vets and clinics so when I moved interstate I decided to try out this one after hearing nothing but fantastic news from locals.
The vet I saw was Jenelle who was very helpful, caring and gentle with my puppy.
With tremendous experience and knowledge about a wide variety of animals (both a goat and a ferret were in for treatment when i was there) plus competitive prices I'll be back for sure.
Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable, and it had a very family like atmosphere. Prices were very reasonable, and all points were thoroughly explained, and hours are flexible. Will most definitely be taking my animals there in the future.
Friendly and flexible hours. However, terribly expensive. Got the same treatment as quoted at another local vet for just under HALF the price. Check elsewhere before you book in. Got the same surgery for about $200 cheaper and medication for just under half. Same stuff, how can it cost so much more???
I did work experience at this clinic and others, compared to alot of other cheaper clinics the anaesthetics here are monitored throughout the entire surgery by a qualified vet nurse. Good quality equipment is used and pain relief was given to all patients. The care of the patients was a high priority, not cost. Some other clinic's I have done work experience at cut costs by not using pain relief, no nurses to monitor animals and cheap equipment. So I guess the saying is true, "you get what you pay for
