From the very first meeting with our coordinator, Belhaven was totally different to every other venue we visited. Belhaven was the only place that we felt that would make the day special unique to us, rather than just some cookie-cutter run-of-the-mill function. This was indeed the case, and we are overjoyed with the service and value for money we received.
Our MC was very professional and extremely funny, managing to be respectful but also to fit into the tone of our reception. The food was amazing - delicious and in generous serves. We have had such a wonderful feedback from our family and friends about all aspects of our reception, and it is all down to the incredible staff at Belhaven. I even forgot that Belhaven is a three-room function venue - we simply did not hear or see any other guests.
I would recommend Belhaven to anyone I know in a heartbeat, and if we ever had a reason to have a large function, we would gladly come back.
We actually had the opposite experience at Belhaven Manor with our reception. We found the service and the staff to be highly professional and efficient, nothing was too big or small when we asked the coordinator or staff it just got done. On the night of our reception everything that was mentioned to us happened above and beyond. We found the MC to be experienced and didnt go over board.
Our Wedding coordinator kept everything under control and was there for us from beginning to end.
The food was beautiful we are still hearing from our guests how much they loved it and that it was one of the best wedding they have been too in a long while.
We have every confidence in referring them to friends and family looking for a reception.
Their service is not great. They talked up their service when we met up with them but on the actual night it's not delivered.
There was another wedding on at the same night and the emcee spent most of their time at the other wedding. They couldn't pronounce our names correctly and that's annoying.
