Myself and my partner both ordered the veal (scaloppine al funghi e vino) with great expectations. Not the greatest, lacking flavour and the veal was tasteless..veal itself was slightly over cooked and not seasoned at all.. i cant describe the flavour as there was none. When your paying $30 for a veal you want it too be full of flavour and cooked too perfection. fair enough having one veal slightly overcooked but not two. With each bite we were hoping for it too taste better but it never happened. The potatoes were just as bland and tasteless felt like we were eating boiled potato.. apparently there was suppose too be seasoned greens.. i saw a couple snow peas that were not seasoned.. shallot's that tasted OK and a few sparingly mushrooms. Too harsh? not when you spend the money its not. location is fine.. just across from the beach. Service was the best thing about it.. cant really fault it except they got two orders wrong and we only ordered 1 bread 4 drinks and 2 mains. can overlook this as the service overall was spot on. Staff were friendly and polite.
Great atmosphere and FABULOUS food. I had a pasta dish and considering I don't typically like pasta (Italian in general), I would certainly go back again. It's not the cheapest pasta/pizza around, but in this case, you get what you pay for.
You want great tasting and quality Italian - you need go to Bella Venezia!! They also have a VIP program, where if you register, you will be sent a $10 gift card toward your next meal. Now, if that isn't enticing enough, I don't know what is! :)
This is not the cheapest pizza around but is definately the tastiest I've tasted. Some very interesting combinations. We had a smoked chicken pizza that was amazing.
Excellent pizza and a huge variety of pasta. Don't forget this place when you are doing take away. We often pick up a pizza and then sit at the picnic tables along Mooloolaba beach and watch the surf! Both are 5*
