This is a local hangout spot for many of the locals in Manly. In summer you can sit outside under the shade of huge umbrellas and soak up the atmosphere in the courtyard. In winter there are heaters which take the chill off the night air. The outdoor capacity of the café definitely out numbers the indoor capacity. If it is raining then you and seven other people can be warm and cosy inside. The simple café style fare keeps the locals coming back for more

    A really nice cafe. Extremely reasonable prices, friendly staff, fast service. Most people were in beach attire and there were a few dogs under tables so very laid back but very comfortable and relaxed.

    Bench cafe is more than just a cafe....it offers the most delicious fajitas in an evening outdoor setting that cannot be beaten for price or taste. They are no longer BYO which is understandable, tho upp'ed the price for a night out. Definitely worth it tho!

    A great Thai restaurant just off The Corso. This place always looks busy and after finally securing a seat the food was worth it – had a delicious curry puff for entre, prawn stir fry (#24) and green curry chicken for mains. They were all top notch – I do eat Thai often.
    The place has a nice atmosphere and the only negative is the noise level that makes dinner conversation a little difficult.
