Not sure what all the fuss is about... yes it's a big sandwich, but the schnitzel is pre-cooked, damp and not at all crispy, no cheese on my preferred sandwich and at $10, not really that great value. Had better sandwiches, though for the size, that is probably where the value is.
  • I tried this place a couple of weeks ago. The chilli chicken was absolutely incredible: tasty, fresh ingredients and the sandwich itself was huge! Service is also friendly and the price is reasonable given how large the serving is. The only issue was actually finding the place (it is on Pitt St in a little mall opposite the Hilton Hotel).

Yum! If I wanted a sandwich in my old job I would often head to big bite. I have since moved a miss this place.

The options are numerous and the size is always the same
    - huge! Oftentimes I would split the sand wedge with a friend. All in all, quality food and service.

Only drawback is its location in a slightly seedy area of a kinda seedy Laneway mall. Get over it and eat up!

Good sandwiches, now I see why everyone is raving about them. Very busy though, I hate long lines and having to wait, but it is worth it! I guess it is always like this when the food is good.
  • The sandwiches here are Awesome! This sandwich shop has a great layout where to would walk in and order what you would like from the menu and by the time you have reached the register to pay your sandwich is ready!
This sandwich shop can get really busy so make make it an early lunch.

Big Bite always reminds me of my time in America. The only difference is that these sandwiches are not only huge but the quality is high. Due to the large number of people who have discovered this hidden gem there is always a long queue although it is very well organised and due to their 1st class staff the line moves amazingly fast.
Their pricing is a very fair $9.50 across the board which enables Big Bite to not only make the best sandwich I have had in Sydney but also the best value.

The Sandwiches are HUGE!! this place can get pretty packed but the staff have a good system of getting through it all without too much hassle. If you are extremely hungry give this place a try
  • We ordered sandwiches from this place and they shorted us a few sandwiches. They then accused us of lying and refused to provide the product we'd paid for.

Avoid like the plague and go to the Cnr of George and Bridge St instead
  • This place is so good - the best place in Sydney to get a sandwich I think. The line is always pretty long over lunchtime, but with good reason. The sandwiches here are all delicious. They are also massive! Seriously, if you're a girl you're unlikely to be able to finish one, in which case a wrap might be a better option for you. The sandwiches are made on yummy fresh bread, and the ingredients are all just as fresh. I often go for the lemon pepper chicken option, which is marinated, warm chicken breast with salad. Sounds pretty boring, but I assure you it is delicious. They add some yummy mayonnaise-type dressing to it, which makes it even more tasty. If you're ever looking for a sanger in Sydney, look no further than this place. And at $9 a sandwich, I think it's pretty well priced considering how filling they are!
  • It's serious quality - how people only rate a 4 baffles me! Where else can I find a 5 star sambo venue in Syd?
