Opened in 1993 by art student Bill Granger, this cafe is one of many that has earned international success. Part if Bill?s franchise including recipe books and television, the Darlinghurst café is popular with everyone who comes to visit,. The large communal table helps to create the casual and friendly atmosphere as diners choose from the menu great coffee and a range of simple meals that have become Bill?s specialties. There are creamy scrambled eggs and ricotta hotcakes for breakfast, or spicy beef with coriander relish, prawn and chilli linguine, pan-fried haloumi sandwich and to finish, a banana butter-scotch pudding for lunch. The cafe is open everyday and bookings can be made for evening functions.
