For a night or day out at the movies in the centre of the city, these cinemas located at the top of the Myer Centre, are definitely the place to go. We had a car, but for tourists without, these are easily accessed from hotels. Was a very short walk for us, with plenty to look at along the way. We saw a children's movie, close to Christmas time here, and it was a busy time to be there, but the experience was easy and fun. A very clean, well-run cinema.
Since the less expensive cinemas have opened around Brisbane, these cinemas have become a lot less crowded. Thank goodness! Crowds at other cinemas turn me off but here there's not too many people trying to sit in the same seat you are. It's a nice pleasant cinema.
Good cinema up the top of the Myer Centre. They do cheap parking after 1 Mon-Fri if you see a movie. Usually less crowded than Southbank Cinemas and if you have a Student Card they charge about the same.
All the new releases combine in this cinema. Very modern and clean surroundings. The food available is good without being too expensive. The staff were helpful and willingly assisted with seating my children. A fantastic movie experience.
