I visited Bistro Bruno for a 30th a few weekends ago and we were seated in the upstairs room. The decor was warm and inviting and the food just scrumptious. The staff were friendly and the service impeccable. Highly recommend visiting this cute restaurant with a personal touch. -

This restaurant has just opened up in Balmain. I think they've been there for around seven weeks. It's just behind the Unity but despite that it's a really nice very well presented restaurant. The new owners have clearly spent heaps doing this place up and it really looks great. Will also be great in the summer as there's an area at the back with a glass roof that I reckon will be lovely.
We had dinner there over the weekend, I got the impression we were lucky to get a table for two. If you're looking for a bigger table I'd recommend booking.
Having said all of this by far the best part of our experience was the food. Really top class. I had the pork belly and my wife had the pie. Not for you if you're looking for a budget feed but we were very happy. Big portions, well presented, great tastes and good service.
