This great little bookshop at Paddington is a great place to visit and peruse the array of books there - or you could attend the launch of a new book too! Downstairs is the Cafe, which serves great food and coffee, and is a welcoming place to meet with friends and enjoy the unusual outlook! I had a poppyseed muffin there this week - it was so light, and delicious!

I've walked past Black Cat countless times on my way to work, always overlooking it. Today I wandered in and was pleasantly surprised! They have a fantastic range of books and gifts as well as a lovely cafe downstairs. The outside courtyard would be the perfect spot to indulge in some reading or writing as I witnessed many doing. The coffee was excellent and I will definitely be making regular visits!
