Reviews of Black Pony Cafe

  • Great service, wine and food, Excellent presentation and matching of palettes. Small and intimate dinning, but with a small group its also a very nice environment to nourish & connect with friends or family.
  • #reviewtowin Black Pony is consistently good, the food is gourmet and a little more exy than some cafes but worth the price, the poached eggs and haloumi are delicious, the coffee is great and the service sharp. The only downside is it is such a small cafe there can be a bit of a wait for a table.

  • One of my local favourites! always hard to get a table but coffee is great and food is fresh!

Went to the cafe on Sunday last week. sat outside even if it was a little chilly! Will be great in the summer when you want to be out of the heat. I ordered homemade baked beans with poached eggs and a home made lemonade. The food was yummy I would go back. The Lemonade on the other hand was horrible. the staff were super friendly and checked on us a couple of times which was good as we were outside and sometimes you can be forgotten about. I would recommend it.
  • Probably the best cafe in Coogee with the most amazing French toast. You will definitely need to book on the weekends though. Only negative would be the extended wait on coffees at times
