    This is a really fun cafe that brings the element of Sydney's night-life into it's atmosphere. Extensive cocktail menu and a great food menu. A great vibe and usually a live DJ on weekends, it's a great place to start your night out

    Always bring friends and family that come to visit out-of-country to here. Not that it is THAT amazing but it's location is perfect. Get to fit in all the touristy things, and then get to have a drink with a view that overlooks Cockle Bay. Food itself is perfectly fine by me.

    The amount of people in this place on Friday and Saturday nights certainly reiterates it's popularity. I've only ever been here with large groups of people for birthdays etc. and Blackbird Cafe and its staff has always delivered. Service was quick, as I assume such large groups would be priority, and the drinks menu was quite extensive which I always enjoy. The ambiance created was quite bar-like, with dimmed lights, lasers and a considerable volume for the great music being played. The meal servings were quite sizable so although a little pricey for some, it certainly seemed to be of value. I would certainly come here again with a large group of people.

    I've been here a few times, it's a popular spot overlooking the harbour. The decor is nice, especially the hanging wicker chairs just outside the door. Food is good, although slightly on the pricey side which is understanding considering their rent. The chocolate souffle is to DIE FOR, although it turned out to be more like a chocolate fondant (no complaints there). Service is rather slow, after failing to get the attention of our waitress for a water refill I ended up just going up to the bar myself with our bottle to get it filled.

    went here recently with a large group of friends for dinner. There is a bit of a mixture of people who go here, from the tourists, hen's parties, boys night out etc. Interesting to sit and watch the people go in and out. They offer a variety of food which is pretty average and the service is pretty quick. It does get quite busy so recommend that you book a table.

    Decent place, I've been here for dinner a couple of times. Last dish I remember was the kangaroo, which was really good but a bit small. Service is quick, and the atmosphere pleasant. Great to go with a group of friends.

    The place has great food and view but the only thing that deters me from visiting again is the slow service. Every time I've been there outside of lunch time, we had to wait minimum 30-50 minutes for our mains to arrive.

    I came here for lunch and ordered a chicken caesar salad which came with no chicken. When I pointed this out they took it away and brought it back with 2 pieces of chicken - not impressed. BUT I then came again for dinner and was pleasantly surprised at how lovely the meal was. The mixed plate starter was delicious and was quickly followed by a yummy ravioli. I would definitely return for dinner although I may give lunchtimes a miss.
