    Great food but shockingly bad service. Waited two hours for the main meals to arrive. When we enquired about the whereabouts of the main meals, the senior staff blamed one of my relatives for ordering an entree. Her unnecessary comments wrecked our special occasion.

    Last weekend we had a family birthday dinner at Blakes and it was simply brilliant, the staff were attentive, polite and friendly and the food was outstanding.

    Entree serving sizes were fantastic, the Prawn+Lobster Cocktail was deelish!
    Mains were all top notch with something to suit every taste in our group.
    The desserts were a work of art.

    Honestly, The best dining experience I've had in the Hills for many years, Highly Recommended.

    I love eating at Blakes, great service brilliant food, and value for money, the servings are very generous and my favourite thing is the mixed Entree platter, which changes every day - my only problem is I eat too much every time I go :)

    The food is fantastic and service is second to none. Love the location and ambience. It has a quiet homely feel and a great dining experience. The downside is that it has gotten soooo expensive. 2 Adults and 2 kids (8&6 years old) cost us $170 and we had no wine or deserts!

    I went to Blakes for a belated Valentine's Day dinner and the service was fantastic! Very romantic atmospher and you can choose whether you want to sit inside or on the balcony. Highly recommended!

    From the moment you make your reservation, essential for weekend dining, throughout the meal and when you are leaving, the service is friendly, efficient and warm. The food is always delicious, beautifully presented and makes you feel like it's a special occasion. The prices are citilike, but you are paying for a lovely night out with delicious food and you're not packed in like cattle. I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting great food with excellent service, just remember it's out west so the attire is tres casual.
