Blarney Stone Irish Pub

Directions
Whilst you are a far way from that infamous stone which millions have kissed, you can still enjoy good old fashioned Irish hospitality at the Blarney Stone Irish Pub. Located in Yarraville, this is a great local pub where you can order a beer on tap, including a pint of Guinness. Serving generously sized and great value for money pub fare, you can opt to dine and drink here for lunch or dinner.

The Blarney Stone Hotel is the place where everybody knows your name... Truelly this is the kind of pub that welcomes everyone....leave your stuck up attitude at the door. This is a true locals pub... you dont have to wipe your boots at the door in fact you might find a locals dog or two hiding in the corner of the front bar. Mans best friend is his dog, a cold drink & the best yummiest roast & new & old friends to share it all with.
The staff are nice, friendly & hard working.Thursday nights entertainment with Gary on vocals & guitar is great.
Big T.V screens to watch every major sporting event on & a TAB in a comfortable, relaxed enviroment.
I have been living in Yarraville for 10mnths & have always enjoyed great food, helpful service & good times at The Blarney Stone Hotel. Yarraville

Have been here twice and both times the service has been quite bad. Went to eat in the restaurant section where my companion ordered a drink which had to be returned because it was the wrong one. The waitress/bartender brought out the right drink - in a dirty glass. We also waited quite a long time for our food to come out (the pub only had two other tables occupied, not busy at all), of which, all three of our meals came out very dark, almost burnt.

The second time I went there was for drinks with friends. My friend ordered a drink at the bar. They again, poured the wrong drink for my friend, who was very nice about it, gave it back to them and asked again for the drink she originally ordered. Said bartender poured her the drink - and - I kid you not - then took a used straw from a dirty glass and put it in my friend's new drink thinking that no one saw. My friend didn't want to cause a scene so she didn't say anything but obviously, we were all very appalled to say the least!

I will never, ever go back to this place and will strongly discourage anyone from doing so!

A good local pub.Especially the Tuesday special menu, especially if you back it up with a cheap Tuesday movie at the Sun
