Found the service to be the best I have had in a while in a busy restaurant. I was running late for breakfast and they allowed me to order from the breakfast menu 20 minutes after it ended which was really great! Not sure if it's the norm but the staff remembered the regulars in our group by name and learnt the new people's names.
Was a bit disappointed in my breakfast however. My scrambled eggs with smoked salmon was unfortunately quite dry and the salmon was lacking taste. Presentation was lacking as well.
Would go back again to try some different menu options because of the great service.

It's too hit and miss here to write a great review. Today my lunch was lukewarm, but I didn't bother complaining as last time I did all I got was a rude reply. Several of my friends enjoyed their meals, but two or three of us were rather unimpressed. Service was slow and a few of the drinks didn't arrive when we had coffee and dessert. Luckily we planned a long lunch! The brunch is usually pretty good, but as the day goes on the quality goes down. I probably wouldn't go here for lunch or dinner unless a friend really wanted to. Sometimes the staff are friendly and helpful, sometimes you wait for 30 minutes to ask for another drink. -

Seafood smells were amazing here, but alas I was only in for dessert! The indulgent Mars bars crepes doused in Belgian chocolate were particularly yummy, unfortunately it was my friend that ordered them! I had the rose wine pear dessert- which looked incredible (this place definitely scores top points for presentation), but didn't quite live up to its appearance. The pear was cold and tricky to cut... and as a result a few pieces of pear became airborne in the struggle! Nice atmosphere though, despite being attached to a shopping mall. -

The atmosphere at Blue Water Grill makes it one of the best places to dine in the Hornsby area by far, but the food can be a little bit on the pricey side if you're just looking for a quick bite. The menu is extensive and they're open for breakfast lunch and dinner - the mars bar crepes are a must-have if you can fit them in! -

The food can be occasionally disappointing, but is generally very good. Their salt and pepper seafood is definitely my favourite. The service can be a bit slow on a busy night, and food can be left sitting on the counter for between 10-15min before being served (we've sat next to the kitchen many times). The operatic singing is enjoyable, but the restaurant can get a little too loud for a nice night out. A 3 course meal will set you back between $80-100, which can be pricey (and probably not worth it on a regular basis). -

The menu is modern, and specials change regularly (look out for the Rib steak when it comes on). Breakfast, lunch or dinner, it has something to suit everyone and if you come to dine in the evening, one of the waiters is a tenor singer and gives regular performances. We've been on many occasions and each time, the service is great, no matter who the waiter is. Fantastic food, fantastic service, fantastic dining experience.
