Just after I visited this place I got an email from one of those group deals - which exemplifies the direction this place is going desperate and even with 50% off, as the other reviewers state, expensive!

Loved the Salt & Pepper Squid, Fresh Lime & Aioli entree for flavour and thought it wasn't going to be a great night. But like the size of this entree it just got more and more disappointing. I recall only about three tiny pieces for the entree and my guests entree was the same, we couldn't even afford to sample each others food. ($11 aprox)

My main was terrible. I had the seafood Linguini w spicy seafood broth, Moreton Bay bug & mussels, squid, sh & cherry tomatoes . I felt the food was a hassle to eat, which is to be expected but considering it was was the signature dish on the menu (in all the pictures) the Linguini was not al dante - just badly cooked. The seafood came off as dry and tasteless and all for just $30 odd bucks.

By this stage we didn't care to waste our money on desert. I'll simply say, extremely disappointing. Leave this place for the well off back packers in the area, and let's say even if the I got 70% off I still thought it was bad.

Pricey, but fabulous food. Ideal intimate, romantic date location - away from the hustle and bustle and guaranteed quality food.

One of the best breakfasts in Bondi but the service can be erratic like anywhere in the area on a buys weekend ( which is most weekends here). It can be a bit cave-like inside when its a blue sky day outside but sometimes you want that on a hot day.The best bed, if you can score a table is to sit outside drink your coffee, eat your eggs and people watch.

The food was excellent, I went for breakfast after reading a review in Sydney Weekender. Was extremely happy with service. Food portions could be slightly bigger though.

Great lunches and dinners, it is expensive but fine fare on offer at Blue Orange. It is let down a little by it's breakfast menu, but judging by the lack of empty seats each morning, I'm in the minority with that opinion.
