Welcome to the newest Maleny accommodation in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland

We offer you the choice of three peaceful self-contained Cottages equipped with the latest in comfort, Decor and appliances, ensuring our guests will feel pampered and special. 

Our area in the hinterland of Australia's Sunshine Coast near Maleny is unique, steeped in history, natural beauty and tranquillity.

All cottages overlook the beautiful Conondale Ranges, and are situated near to the main Sunshine Hinterland tourist route, off Maleny-Kenilworth Road.

A picturesque and easy 1km walk, or a short drive, will take you to Maudy's Restaurant, a favourite with locals and tourists alike, and the newly-opened general store.

    My husband and I were looking for a quiet, relaxing and romantic place to spend some time together. After searching the web and finding Blue Summit Cottages we thought it looked really nice. Initial I spoke to Lyn to confirm the dates of our stay and she was very friendly and helpful. When we arrived and met Lyn, she was so friendly, warm and helpful. We got to our cottage it was so beautiful and private, my husband words "This is the most relaxed I have felt in a long time!". Please note we stayed for 3 nights with it pouring rain most of the time and the views were still amazing and a very relaxing time with the fire going and bottle of wine close at hand.
    The cottages are very modern with every convenience necessary to enjoy a relaxing and romantic time away, with still only minutes away form Maleny.
    Congratulation Lyn & Bruce for allowing us to experience the wonderful work you have done to create a peaceful and enjoyable place. We will definitely be back and letting all of our friends and family now about this wonderful place called 'Blue Summit Cottages'

    I was looking for a nice quiet romantic spot to celebrate our anniversary and I found Blue Summit Cottages on the web. I had never heard of it, but their website looked great and when I rang and spoke to Lyn, I got a good "gut feel" about it and made the booking. I was not disappointed. The cottages are located in a nice quiet spot with a great rural outlook. The cottages are nicely separated and private. They are very nicely appointed with modern quality fittings and furnishings. Bruce & Lyn have spent some considerable time personalising the cottages. I suggest go for the continental breakfast, which was very plentiful. We have stayed at a couple of cottage style B&B's in the area before, but this one we will definitely go back to.

    We spent our second short break at the cottages only to be once again surprised to see that the cottages were still clean and well maintained. From the wine, cheese platter and breakfast hamper, were more than generous plus not to add the additional kitchen good from glad wrap, spices and candles for our convenience. We had a wonderful time as Lyn and Bruce could not do enough for us during our stay, during and after. It was like visiting old friends when we turned up for our second break. We enjoyed our stay in our modern cabin whilst taking in the tranquil private surrounds. Thank you once again for your all your hospitality, Lyn & Bruce.

    My husband and I recently spent a fabulous night away in the Cockatiel Cottage. The cottage was wonderful in every way: beautifully furnished, impeccably clean, thoughtfully equipped with everything from candles and matches to good quality kitchenware and all in an incredibly peaceful setting. The views from each window were breathtaking and Lyn and Bruce were superb hosts, ensuring we had everything we required whilst allowing us total privacy. The locally produced breakfast provisions were delicious and plentiful and the double spa bath was a wonderful bonus. The added extra of the in-cottage massages from the friendly and extremely professional external therapists made our stay even more relaxing. We will certainly be returning to Blue Summit Cottages again!

    We had a wonderful 2 nights at the King Parrot Cottage - we have nothing but praise for this beautifully designed and immaculately presented cottage. Combined with the scrumptious breakfast hampers and delightful BBQ picnic basket, we felt absolutely
    spoilt and pampered. In the very competitive B&B market in this area, these cottages represent excellent value for money and the very special personal touches completed a lovely break for us.

    Absolutely wonderful. We've stayed at Blue Summit twice now and both times were perfect. Lyn and Bruce have done a fantastic job. If your looking for peace, privacy, comfort and cleanliness (well spotless) with a breathtaking view then this is the place to be. I recommend at least a 3 night stay.
