A wine bar that serves food

Boire, 'to drink' is a rustic wine bar that serves uncomplicated, flavoursome food. Catherine Chauchat, the owner, grew up in Bordeaux and is a qualified winemaker, so hence there is a strong focus on the beverages, most of which are from small Bordeaux producers. Arna McCabe (ex Cumulus Inc and European) is in the kitchen and although the offerings are limited you can be sure they are satisfying. The mains include a stew of the day - perhaps a braise of chicken with peas and asparagus - and the desserts a fine serve of creme caramel.
