Bondi Icebergs Club

Directions
Bondi Icebergs Club is a Sydney institution started by a group of lifesavers wishing to keep fit during the winter months.
The start of each season is celebrated by members jumping into the cold water beach pool whilst filled with icebergs.
If that's not your pace then, there's no reason why you can't go for a dip during the summer months and take advantage of all the facilities the club has to offer including a gym, sauna and much more.

The pool is a great place for a dip but the RSL (upstairs from the pool) is really a great place for a meal/drink.
It may not be as nice as the dining room (above the RSL) but it's views are just as good and it's not over-priced like it's flashy upstairs partner.
Good, wholesome food with a family (and wallet) friendly environment.

The outside tables are hard to come by on a nice day but provide a great view over Bondi should you be lucky enough (or early enough) to get one. The Ocean is so close you can feel the sea spray on your face.

There's a plasma which often shows sports games and you're always likely to see one or two rugby/cricket tragic devotees with their eyes glued to the TV.

Great for a Sunday afternoon meal or beer. Just get there early to avoid disappointment.

Dive into salty bliss at the southern end of Bondi. There’s also a gym and sauna by the most stunning pool in town. Bask in the sun on the rocks or pop up to the RSL after for lemon, lime and bitters.
