I have only heard good reviews about Borsch but my visit was terrible! I got an iced coffee and it just tasted like pure coffee without anything sweet like cream to get rid of the bitter taste. The staff were very nice and helpful and i might try it again but for a vodka next time!

Love this place. Cocktail list longer than a phone book and great selection of tapas and mains to go with them. A must for a catch up with friends or a special date.

Love this place. Food is sensational, homely & comforting. The least pretentious place on Chapel St.
I adore the potato blintzes with smoked salmon & sour cream. Great hangover brunch! The goulash (beef stew) is also yummy.
Great place to come with a noisy group of friends & work your way through the extensive vodka menu. I recommend the Van Gogh chocolate & the medos (honey). A much better way to end a meal than dessert!

This is one of my top 3 restaurants! I absolutely love it here! It's perfect for anyone who loves good food! My tapas of choice are always the polish dumplings, crispy fetta and rice balls and hungarian lamb stew! Don't pass up the chance to try their Velvet Fog cocktail! Simply amazing!
The music is always playing, the bar is always busy making fantastic cocktails and the employee's always have a great attitude. Definately book early as it is packed and there aren't a large amount of tables.

This place brings me back so many good memories...birthday gatherings, catch ups and dates...their small dishes to share are awesome, along with their 77 choices of vodkas! Their 'bee sting martini' (honey vodka shaken with odkowa, chilli vodka and a honey rim) is to die for!

A fashionable contemporary Europe bar on Chapel Street, I instantly fell in love with the cluttered décor, walls lined with vodka bottles reminding me of times I spent in Europe. The staff seemed a little flustered on arrival and having three people waiting on us became a little confusing as it was unsure who had served etc. But over all the staff were fantastic, bubbly, funny, easy going, kind and would definitely go back for their relaxed personalities. The drinks were magnificent and made the restaurant unique. Cocktails perfectly made with intricacy and detail, well presented with a complementary taste evenly spread with various vodkas. The food holds a lot of praise; simple, hearty and deep rich European meals. I felt as though I had stepped into Poland and a local was cooking me the meal. The miss-matched cutlery and dinnerware of old vintage plates, dark lighting and candles all added to the ambience of Europe.

Borsch? Tick. Vodka? Triple tick. Tears? You’ll be cryin’ ’em if you don’t avail yourself of this Chapel St institution post-haste. BVT’s shelves heave with more than 100 types of rare vodka infusions designed to be sampled straight-up, and their cocktail menu is as thick and complex as any Russian novel. (Just quietly, amid all the creative concoctions, they also make the best Bloody Mary in town.)
