This place is a disaster. We went here on a summer evening in late December with a group of 6 of us. The placed looked pleasant and inviting, so thought we'd give it a try. We just had dinner, so we just wanted to have a drink. Half of us ordered a cocktail, with the other half ordering beers. After the had finished the beers, our cocktails still had not showed. After asking 3 separate staff members about them, our waitress apologetically told us they had run out of limes but no one had told her. It took us another 15 minutes to get a couple of glasses of wine. This place needs new management and new musical talent. Save your money and go elsewhere. The only reason this place is still in business is because of customers from out of town.

After being greeted cheerily at the entrance and spying the lovely outdoor area with plenty of spare seats we thought we would give bo's a chance.
Once seated the waiters friendly disposition changed from enthusiastic to ambivalent. We ordered lunch and drinks, the lunch coming out before our beverages and the fish was tiny, dry and resembled card board. The pasta was nice but you think amazing would be better for the $23.00 price tag.

No one came back to check on the meals or to bring the drinks so after seeking out the 3 waiters and bar staff who were chatting out the back using profanities and complaint about making a milk shake we asked for our drinks and told them the fish was terrible. No one came to fix the problem and as the waiter grabbed the plate I asked what they will do regarding the untouched fish. The waiter came back five minutes later to tell me the chef was cooking a new one, which thankfully was a lot better. With only two tables seated and three wait staff on you would think someone would come and check the second round of snapper to make sure this one was cooked. But no And no appologies were offered.

Not sure how this business has survive but don't waste your money here!

The best breakfast my family had in Byron with out a doubt. Cool friendly staff, "exactly what the Byron experience should be", in my mind... can't believe the haters....

The music there was the only positive experience! The staff had little interest in the customers and the orders we made were all wrong. One of our vegetarian group members ordered the soup of the day which was said to be pumpkin, and instead was faced with a pile of watery seafood. Another somehow received a bacon and egg muffin and the other guests had a lump of fish that tasted quite peculiar. Only two of the meals were replaced which left the group waiting another 30 minutes, and the remaining meals cold. We were not compensated for this and left hungry and unsatisfied. Would not return here or recommend this!

A group of us went out for a nice breakfast in Byron Bay one rainy Sunday morning. The restaurant looked appealing from the outside and was at approximately half capacity. We ordered our meals and began to wait for them to be delivered to our table. We noticed that the table of four next to us received their breakfasts before us, even though they had ordered after we had, and we had at that stage been waiting for an hour.

An hour and a half after placing our orders, the meals began to dribble out from the kitchen to our table. The poached eggs were rock hard and the meals weren't what we had ordered. Half way through her egg's benedict, one of the girls found a very large piece of eggshell cooked into her poached/boiled egg. At this stage, the very complex order of vegemite on Turkish toast and an order of Garlic and Basil mushrooms still hadn't arrived.

Needing to leave early (as she needed to get back to the Gold Coast before lunch) the girl who received the eggshell in her meal asked one of the staff if she was able to be compensated for her lacklustre Eggs Bene.. To which she was offered a 50c discount. The Manager abruptly said she had eaten the rest of the meal and should have brought it to the staff's attention early in order to receive a replacement. To which it was pointed out that the meal had taken an hour and half to arrive, therefore, it was not worth waiting another hour for a replacement of a shocking dish. We were told the average wait time in Byron for a meal is an hr and 15 minutes, a statistic we weren't aware of, nor had we experienced elsewhere. I suspect the timeliness of Bo's at Byron has boosted the average of the other eateries.

It was the worst eating experience we had ever had and hugely disappointing to be spoken to so rudely by a person working in Customer Service. To cut a long story short, don't waste your time or your money eating at this restaurant. Try Twisted Sisters as the service is amazing and the food is delivered quick and fresh.

I had been stuck in Byron due to floods, so decided to dress nicely and go out for a meal. The open air cafe was almost deserted, but they had some guitarists playing. I thought it looked nice, not crowded with backpackers.
I told the waiter I had nothing to do, so could he bring me out my tapas slowly. Well my second order came out first, 3 scallops in half shells. They were slightly undercooked and only luke warm. The sauce was nice, but there was only a few wilted leaves of rocket to mop it up with. The mushrooms I had ordered had not come after 40 minutes, and when I asked the waiter he seemed confused.
Needing some ciggarettes, I asked the waiter where the closest shop was. I walked up the street to the corner shop, which I had told the waiter I was doing. He said my mushrooms would be ready when I got back. When I got back 5 minutes later a woman rudely dropped the bill on my table.

I said excuse me I haven't finished my meal. She then accused me of being a liar. I sat dumbfounded for a minute, stunned that this person who I had not seen all night could so casually ruin my evening. After I had patiently sat there smiling and reading a book, she ruined my evening for a $9.00 plate of mushrooms I had not recieved.
I approached the bar and she again accused me of lying. I paid $24.50 for 2 coopers and 3 scallops with wilted rocket. And a bad feeling.
I had been prepared to just sit there ordering tapas dishes while listening to the music, now I am wasting my time writing about my horrible experience for all to see.
My advice is not to go there.
