Dr is very nice and kind, however one of the staff wasn't. Many people had been waiting for over 2 hours and every time they asked how much longer it might be the staff
shot them down. Also, the gale force winds coming into the waiting area every 30 seconds made the 2 hour wait unbearable.

    wait room time is >1hr
could be longer if you want to see a specific dr
yes i agree, gps can be unsympathetic b/c they r too busy. & u feel like ur on a conveyor belt being pushed in & out of their dr room. if u ring to ask ur dr about something, they want u back on that conveyor belt.
one dr was the only gp avail when i got an appt in evening, i saw them for 1st time & they initially refused to fill out a form my health fund needed because i had been seen by another gp, i reminded them its a gp at this practice. they were hesitant & i had to really push them.i had been a patient at that clinic for over 5yrs! & they treated me as if i had never been there before, either that or didn't care.
i needed my specialist referral updated & a dr refused to fax it even after they rang asking for it.
they expect u to just keep going back there to wait an hr for an appt (even for a piece of paper referral) b/c u have nothing else better to do. i am a health practitioner myself & i can't believe how unhelpful and money-hungry gps are for medicares by getting u to go to see them all the time. no wonder the wait is >1hr. they could better manage their time seeing patients who really need it. for things like referrals, y make it so hard for people to get access to these, esp if no actual consultation is needed.

I went hear with a fever and they checked my temperature in the top half of my ear and said i was fine. I was told not to bother with panadol or antibiotics as I wouldn't want my body building up resistance to this stuff.

I felt so sick I went to a second clinic for their opinion. They said I was very ill and 0.5 degrees off needing to be hospitalised. They made me take some panadol immediatly and wrote me a script for antibiotics.

I still go here for doctors certificats, refferals and scripts for the pill as it's easy to get in and they bulk bill - but for everythign else I go elsewhere

Dr Hanna is lovely but WAY too busy. Occasionally I have waited for 2 hours for a booked appointment. Typically it is a 1 hour wait. It doesn't seem to make a difference whether it is business hours or not as to how long you wait. I like that they bulk bill so that there is no need to claim costs back from Medicare.

Somewhat inconsistent with waiting times - there are days when I have turned up almost unannounced and have been attended to immediately, where other days I have booked and waited 40 minutes...

The sliding door to the car park blows a fierce gale into the waiting area every time someone walks along the footpath (a main thoroughfare).

Have found the doctors to be good and friendly.

    Bulk billing.

I found the doctors here to be impatient and unsympathic. It is an ok place to go if you have a cold and would like a medical certificate. But for other more serious complaints, I wouldn't bother!
