Beware Dealing with Brighton Mazda, especially from the service department. the second they have your commitment, they lose all interest in knowing or helping you. Bought 2 brand new cars from them, outright 4 years ago. Certain things, such as sensors did not work from the outset, but was told there was nothing wrong every service, despite repeated and loyal custom and complaint.
Bought a second hand $70k car from them recently, (after researching the particular vehicle thoroughly), but was devastated when within under 4 weeks we had 3 occasions that things went wrong and the car either wouldn't start or had an electrical failing. Was consistently told it was my fault, although after inspection at another dealer (and $21,00 later) we were shown clearly that we'd done nothing. Gave Mazda every opportunity to fix things, as we were well under warranty time, but had to fight tooth and nail to even get a phone call, and when I did, the patronising brush offs made particularly in the service department and by the management of second hand sales made it clear just how little interest they have in looking after clients post money receipt. Only saving face was the very nice staff who sold us the car. Even staff was horrified and apologetic, but that certainly didn't do a lot to help our case.

Be careful When buying a Mazda car as they don't stock many spare parts in Australia. The clutch master cylinder failed in my car from general wear and tear and a $120 part is a 6 week wait from Japan resulting with no car on the road for 6 weeks. I put a complaint into head office and they told me this is just the way it is and that they don't care if I put a review about them on Google. I am going to sell my Mazda never again!!! 6 Weeks with no car!!!!!!
