Catered an event I attended and the only good thing I can say is that the creme brulee dessert was ok. The service was awful, I've never seen such rude caterers with a complete lack of care factor. While I accept that the organisers of the event did put them under stress by not communicating appropriate numbers and not asking attendees to specify dietry requirements, the staff were not able to handle this stress at all. Vegetarian meals were under supplied and when asked if they could they just replace my meat with extra salad/potatoes the wait staff shrugged their shoulders and said 'nothing I can do, we don't have extra' however then admitted they did have extra if a meal was dropped.
The kitchen staff eventually took my plate away and came back with some mushed up vegetarian cannelloni (which was actually quite nice) and dumped the plate in front of me without a word.
Completely unprofessional company with very average food. I could have got the main meal somewhere for less then $5 so paying $35 a head for 2 courses was not money well spent.
What a great little cafe. Not only can you get great coffee and home made cakes, including gluten free, but you can also get a great meal at lunch time. They also do catering for wedding functions and home dinner parties and family events. Well worth you taking a walk and popping in for something to eat and a hot drink. Enjoy - we did!
