    I found it hard to find any installers recommended in Brisbane here on the dBa forums, so after just using them, I'll give a REALLY big Thumbs Up for Brisbane Antenna Specialists!!

    I had ribbon cable and my original aerial running to a self installed splitter that ran to my pc, and the bedroom TV was using rabbit ears for the SD STB.
    Was getting OK digital reception (I live in Ashgrove) in the lounge with the ribbon cable though 9HD would give me grief with freezing and pixilation quite often.
    I wanted all cable replaced, another point run to my bedroom, and obviously the antenna replaced only if required.

    Jumped on the phone and organised for two companies to come and give a quote.

    Phoned Mr Antenna and was told Monday morning someone would be out to see me - received a call at 4pm... Guy that came out was named Ian. He said I MUST replace my existing antenna - started raving on about multiplexing (I stopped listening) and said you cant fit a Balun to my antenna, and job was to cost $303 including new cables, splitter. and a MA13HD antenna.

    Phoned and spoke with Mal at Brisbane Antenna Specialists. Mal said Brad would be out to see me Tuesday Morning. As requested he phoned at about 9.30am prior to arrival. He had a look at my antenna and said assuming the wing nuts on the antenna were still functional, should be no problem with keeping the existing antenna.
    Thursday he came back and did the install.
    Brad was really good with finding an alternative location for the antenna from his 1st choice (I didnt like it). F-Type splitter and connectors throughout, Quad shield cable, new antenna bracket, and bottom line end result is now perfect reception on all channels at the PC, HDSTB in the lounge, and SDSTB in the bedroom!! Didnt have to replace my antenna, and price was $220.

    Probably not the cheapest in Brisbane, though I'd rather have someone turn up on time, not tell me "Porky Pies" and do the job with consideration and give me the result I want.

    Hello,

    Thank you for a great job installing a digital antenna at our building and connecting to all apartments. Sorry it's taken this long to email you.

    My neighbours have all commented on the improved reception and ability to access more channels. I'm even inspired to upgrade my 100 yr old tv!

    You both did a great job and were very tidy and thorough. Thank you!
