Hearty dishes and great coffee

Give the Brown Dog a pat on the back for providing patrons with a mouthwatering selection of cakes, slices and sandwiches along with their famous burgers.  The bright, spacious dining room, and the diverse crowd make it a welcoming and interesting place to sit back and join brekkie or lunch. If you're looking for heartier fare the beef venison or a full eggs-and-toast breakfast with the works is highly recommended. A boutique wine list provides some reasonably priced options by the glass or bottle.

I hope they were home made - because they looked like it and tasted like it. The spanish breakfast was great - tasty chorizo. The mushroom bruschetta was delicious too. Good coffee. Cool little place.

Be prepared-when you enter Brown Dog Cafe, you may never want to leave.
Look closely or you may just miss it , the cafe is situated on the eastern side of Goodwood Rd close to the Capri Cinema.
The food is delicious both for breakfast through to late afternoon and the staff are friendly and casual.
Ring and book or you'll be fighting with the regulars for a table!
