    Called this restaurant to order a takeway this evening at 9.30 pm on 20/04/2010. It is the first time we wanted to try their takeway menu, as it did look good. However donâ??t judge the book by the cover?!
    The menu stated they were open until 10.30 pm. Whoever answered the phone should always remember good service within hospitality reflects the good food you offer.
    Although they stated they were closed at 9.30 pm I then questioned that their menu stated 10.30 pm, the person at the other end hung up the phone! I called them back to question why they hung up, no apology and then hung up again!
    You did us a favour! Going by the recent reviews not only you saved us the cost, you saved us the possibility of a bad food experience.
    Bad interpersonal skills equates to bad service.... Working at management level in the hospitality industry for over 15 years, this is a total disgrace to restaurants in our local community. You be the judge?

    Ate there last night (17/05/09) - found an extremely large bug in our pad thai dish!!!
    After some complaint, our meal was eventually comp'ed, but there was no apology from the staff.

    This used to be the best kept secret, but unfortunately no longer. You can rarely get a seat without a booking at this fantastic Thai restaurant. With reasonably prices, very generous servings and magnificent authentic Thai cuisine this restaurant has become my favourite eatery in the whole of Melbourne. The decor is modern, the service impeccable and they even do home deliveries!. Brilliant!

    Brown Rice has become my local eat out or take out. The food is rich and mouth watering.
    The service outstanding. Remembering me by name! I have seen many improvements made over the last 2 years, which shows their dedication to providing outstanding food and service. I have taken many friends for dinners and they too have become regulars. It is the best Thai food out of Thailand!
