Wondering where all the locals are? They're here! Young families with toddlers running around, Ladies of leisure casually sipping tea, groups of friends catching up after a walk- this place is bustling. We came here for afternoon tea and it was still busy even after the lunch crowd had left. You need to book high tea here in advance, but the afternoon tea options were nice and there was a good variety of sweet treats. We had coffee and ordered the passionfruit tart. We really shouldn't have shared it because before I could blink, half of it was consumed by my partner.... it was melt in your mouth delicious! I noticed a group on a table near us ordered a jug of traditional lemonade which they make in house. So i had to order one to try it- and it was perfectly refreshing on a warm summers day!

Will definitely return to try lunch!

This is a hidden little gem. The serving sizes are huge and at a very reasonable price. The burgers pies and pastas are all homemade are absolutely gorgeous and same with their desserts. Their peach bellini is pretty good too!

You sit outside on the wrap around deck and there are heaters outside so you don't feel as cold during the winter.

If you get a chance walk around inside the shop and check out all the knick knacks from the kids to the adults. They also sell gourmet food.

I would have no hesitation in recommending this place to others.

Awesome cafe with great food and atmosphere! The cafe is located on the wraparound verandah of a Federation-style building housing a little retail shop selling the cutest homewares. Tables at the front had views of the harbour.

I must admit that we came here for a late lunch after a 3 hour walk. We were so hungry we could have eaten people off the street. I ordered a fish pie and my fiance ordered a chicken and leek pot pie with a side of chips. The waitress was nice enough to warn us that the pies were big and that we wouldn't need the chips. Our food arrived about 20 minutes later (though it felt like forever) and both pies were totally delicious (and big).

While we scoffed down our lunch, I noticed a lot of families in the cafe - parents enjoying a long boozy lunch while kids played on the surrounding lawns. It definitely had a great feel, I can't wait to come back!
