Award winning, imaginative Mediterranean bar and restaurant

Beautifully overlooking the Brisbane River, enjoy the modern outside verandah or cosy and traditional indoor tables and bar of this Lebanese restaurant. Byblos has a constant contender in the Australian bar Awards for 2007 and 2008 and its elegant Mediterranean style showcases the prestige. There are a range of Mezat plates to share, as well as seafood, meat and poultry mains and an impressive list of desserts. The extensive drinks list is catered for at the bar. The restaurant welcomes groups bookings with a capacity of up to 200 people.

Perfect for a date. Just picture yourself along the Brisbane river, seated on comfortable sofas covered with velvety soft fabric and vivacious colours, an exotic Mediterranean atmosphere, sharing a combination of mezat dishes on a three-level tray with an elegant glass of wine. You might want to try with your loved one.

Named after the place on the coast of Lebanon that’s considered to be the oldest continually inhabited city, this restaurant takes its cues from a rich heritage. It’s owned by the people who brought us Chez Laila, but at Byblos they take the experience up a notch. Inside is inviting, with plush couches amid flowing drapes. The menu is a clever blend of Western technique and Eastern flavours, with banquets offered.
