    Cafe Blah Blah may have been named to reflect the chatter one has with a friend over a coffee or meal, - but I would have to confess that the only thing going through my mind during our unfortunate experience of the Cafe was how literally one could be, in reviewing the service and dining atmosphere - as blah! That's not to say that some of the food was not okay - as the meal itself was reasonable enough - although overpriced for the quality. The upside was that the variety of choices on the menu provided each of us with something we thought we would enjoy, and on ordering, none of us felt we had 'settled' for the best thing we could find. The desserts/pancakes, in the end, were the most successful choice as the chicken in another dish was overcooked, dry and basically substandard when considering the price tag the plate attracted. Service is a little hard to rate, as basically, there was none. Never have I been more inclined to ask a waiter whether they actually wanted their job, or apologise for clearly bothering them, by turning up as a customer at all.

    Very simple for me: good food (soft-shelled crab tapas is excellent) but terrible service. Many of the waiting staff truly seem to dislike their customers. Don't even think of bringing children there. On the plus side, very reasonable corkage for BYO!

    Great coffee, great service and great food. I love the selection here - it's very easy for groups because there is a bit of everything.

    I highly recommend the duck noodles for lunch/dinner and the berry pancakes for breakfast - yum!

    i have been in mordy for years now, and never thought to much about this cafe, but in recent times i heard many good things. so i took the family and we all enjoyed the food. the service was warm & friendly. Very relaxing. i'm now a regular!

    I've visited this cafe a number of times. To be honest, i haven't been amazed at either the food or the service. I have found that it tends to change person to person. It doesn't seem to have any procedures in place. However, they do lovely deserts and have a wonderful Veggie burger which actually includes veggies! I would say that it is value for money.
    I would continue to go back because it is local but not because i have had a fantastic experience.

    I have lived all my life in mordialloc and i am a big believer in supporting your local businesses,my children decided to take me out for lunch on fathers day just gone and wanted to have dinner at cafe blah blah in main street mordialloc,we were seated and ordered our meals i ordered the chicken parma as it is a favourite of mine,the meal was terrible the chicken was dry not much effort went into the preperation on putting a slice of ham on top the meal looked like it had shrunk,no value for money,to top it off i was overcharged $19.50 which was stated by the waiteress this does not happen all the time??? is she saying only some of the time? i guess if the two chef's concentrated on the job at hand instead of joking around with the other staff the place might have half a chance,very unproffessional....lost me and my family from dining there again.
