A busy Italian restaurant with a lot of buzz and plenty of seafood. The staff are efficient and friendly. get in early or make a booking, because this place is popular. enjoy the spaghetti marinara, the filetto pepper, seafood platters and chilly and cheese bread.

We came here the other night for dinner and we were hungry as anything. It was after 9:30pm on a weeknight and the place still had people dining.
There was quite a selection from their menu but we opted for their specials, which was the scotch fillet and the salmon.
Less than 10 minutes later, the food was in front of us and we were chowing it down. For around $20ish for a main, the serving sizes were quite big, and it was quite tasty.
For those looking for a casual dinner place, give Cafe Jolly a visit! -

Guys - This is a GREAT place to eat....Yes it does get a little noisy at times due to it's popularity, but hey, the food is consistent, it's great value for money, the coffee is good (Thanks Annie) and the service is second to none thanks to KENNY, yes thats his name and he runs around like a mad man - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED we go there all the time - KENNY if you read this, YOU ARE DA MAN....Sydney's best !!! Paul and Megan (You know who we are :-) Give it a go !! -

This bustling restaurant is one of my favourite local restaurants to go to.
The food seems quite authentic and the servings are generous whilst being really good value for money. From memory the average price of a main is about $18. There's a good range of dishes ranging from seafood, to veal, beef, lamb and chicken.
BTW you can't go without trying their famous chilly cheese and honey bread- who would've thought combining these three ingredients could be such a great surprise for the little taste buds :)
Floor staff consists of 2 - I really don't know how they do it because it gets very busy here. But they still manage to friendly and welcoming no matter how crazy things get. One small criticism is the noise level, which can get pretty high sometimes, but it's a small price to pay for a good meal. -

If you're on a budget, but still appreciate fresh and delicious food, check out Jolly. I could go on forever, but remember three simple things: Gorgonzola Gnocchi, Baby Barrumundi, Salmon Ravioli. Don't forget to ask for the parmesan, and tip the wait staff - they deserve it. -

You can't book for this super-reasonable place (mains are no more than $22) so it's always packed but since most people use it for a family-friendly meal or to eat something before they go to the movies on Norton Street, you won't have to wait too long. Very friendly staff. -

You'll need to get there early as this place fills up quickly and there's not a lot of room. Perfect for a quick and reasonably priced meal - pasta and other Italian dishes. Best of all while it's cheap and quick they don't skimp on taste!!
