I find it appaling that this business has a 86% postive review score as it is largely overestimated in terms of quality of food. Having an Indian girlfriend and mother, and having Migrated from England (Where Indian restaurants are a many), I have a long history of indulging in Indian Curries and can easily determine what's really good and what's really bad.
First thing both me and my partner pointed out is that the food was served 5-10 minutes of our order. People, if food is served this quickly, it means that it's not fresh and could potentially be days old. Secondly, we determined that the curries we received strongly seemed as though they had been bought as a Curry paste from Woolworths or Coles. As you are paying $15-20, you should really be getting something that is hand-made and that is fresh! Lastly, the naans are defintely not hand-made... I promise you that!!
Please do not let the interior design fool you into thinking you are paying money for top food. Clearly they spent more funds on the decorating rather than the food itself!
That leaves us with the restuarant manager who initially seemed nice and helpful. At the end of our meal, my partner pointed out we were charged incorrectly and his demanor quicky snapped into an agitated kid.
Please do not waste your money on this trash. I undertstand Queensland is limited in its options. Spend a little bit extra and discover for yourself what a proper curry taste like. Please take this into consideration from a curry enthusiast.
