I always went to West Ryde for years and never went into Neon... Im dissapointed i have been missing out for so long.. Because the coffee is so yummy and i really love it!!! The owner is very down to earth and friendly, and actually talks to you which is good!!!! It is always nice to go somewhere regulary and make friends with people and know they like to genuinely chat to you instead of only taking your money.... oh yeh and it helps when the stuff your buyings awesome to lol. Which it is!!!!!!.... And i really love the framed pictures on the wall...

Being a vocational coffee connoisseur for almost ten years, I would gladly make the drive from wherever I am just to enjoy a coffee at Cafe Neon. Never have I experienced 'lack of variety', bad coffee or poor customer service.
I have met the owner, George and not only does he take the time to ask me how my day has been, but he remembers my coffee order as I'm walking in the door, promptly making it before I can say "soy caramel latte..."

The atmosphere is true to cafe style surrounded by glass frontage, warm greetings and ambient music - guaranteed your ears will not be assaulted by generic 2Day FM strains...

If you appreciate GOOD coffee, get yourself down to Cafe Neon.

Having been a professional barista for 8 years, I can honestly say that I have never had a cafe experience that matches this one. Cafe Neon sets an incredibly high benchmark in not only atmosphere, but in coffee and food preparation/presentation. I have frequented Cafe Neon almost daily since it opened and I have yet to walk away with anything short of a perfect coffee.

The owner has painstakingly created the perfect meeting place in a community that has been in much need of it for far too long. Even in the most busiest of times, the owner - who often works alone - has always taken the time to talk to each and every one of his customers and is very quickly becoming an institution in the local area.

Do yourself a favour. Get down to Cafe Neon today and support independent, Australian owned, local businesses that are the backbone of communities such as this!

Ive been coming to Cafe Neon since it first opened and I'm happy to say that my coffee still and always tastes the same.The staff there are a great laugh and I would recommend this cafe to anyone who doesn't want their "typical" cafe visit and who actually enjoy's good coffee.

Love the coffee and the music. Glad to see that there are people out there who appreciate true music - Piaf and great coffee!
I enjoyed the roasted lamb wrap the other day and I will be in this week to taste another wrap from your wide variety on offer.

Pretty good coffee on offer. Good taste and full flavour. Wood roasted beans produce the best coffee. It's amazing that you can get that style of coffee locally.
A very good variety of sweets. Once again to get treats like proper Italian biscuits and Portuguese tarts locally is pretty cool. There are also lots of other lovely sweets which are not your run of the mill type.
There is a variety of wraps and pizzas as well, which is great. It has added a much needed variety of food in West Ryde.
The owner is fun and down to earth - once again a much needed change for West Ryde.
The owner and coffee is shop is not a part of a chain which must be applauded!

Not great. Didn't like that the guy who served me went out to smoke near the cafe door after I placed my order. Milkshake consisted only of milk and syrup. Banana bread was okay.
Not much variety.

  theres 5 types of bananna bread ,6 types of health wraps, 8 types of gluten free italian hand made biscotti, 7 types of cookies,variety of donuts , 4 types of gluten free cheese cake, 4 types of gluten free cup cakes , pies sausage rolls and pasties, 6 types of milk shakes...last time i checked flavoured syrup is what you add to milk..to make a milk shake,6 types of pizza...

  i have travelled alot & i haven't experienced awesome coffee & service like at Cafe Neon...The staff & the management are simply fantastic always with a great sense of humour..always makes my day...not only do i look forward to my morning coffees everyday but, my children love seeing them & love the " milkshakes" there ... & where do i start when it comes to watching them playing on their guitars outside the shop whilst your sitting enjoying your coffee...a true family atmosphere..Keep up the awesome work Cafe Neon.
