My daughter's baby shower was held a this unfortunate establishment. When arrangements were made whoever took the booking promised sandwiches, pizza, scones and some additional 'little cakes'. Sadly on the day the the amount of food provided was approximately half of what was required. There were 30 women attending this function! The 'food' and I use the term loosly, was totally inadequate and was clearly frozen and microwaved. The service was discussting - totally rude, didn't give a toss whether people were catered for - customer service is something they know absolutely NOTHING about!!!!
The place is dirty - there is no ambience so don't bother looking. The coffee - very average. No stars needless to say. 30 people will not go back there again !!!! I have had to choose a rating - I have chosen 1, but my opion is 0.
Less than impressed by the service, food and attitude. Perhaps a little more care shown or at least an apology considering what was on the order slip wasn't what was served. Definitely wouldn't recommend it to other locals.
This is a popular family owned cafe in The Gap that my family and I love. The owners are friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is relaxed. Occasionally on a Friday evening they have a curry night which is excellent (but you need to book!). Prices are reasonable, the outside courtyard is great if you have littlies in tow, and there is something on the menu to suit everyone. Oh, and they also make the best chips in Brisbane, just ask my boys!
This is an excellent cafe with friendly owners and staff. Positioned across from The Coffee Club, it tends to draw a crowd looking for something a little more special than what's on offer at the larger franchise. Great coffee and the courtyard setting is ideal for reading the paper and relaxing on a Saturday morning.
