We went there today and ordered a Steakburger and chips and a Caesar Salad (no chicken but with a hard boiled yoke) for around $25. The steak on the steakburger was small, sinewy and soggy - almost as if it had been boiled in a shallow pan or cooked previously and microwaved back to life.. it tasted and felt so disgusting I couldn't swallow it. The burger itself was a sorry sight with two thin slices of tomato, a sprinkling of unwashed shredded bagged lettuce and 5 small slivers of onion that tasted like it was left out in the open in the refrigerator. There was no sauce on the burger itself - but there was a grotty sauce bottle on the table I could take my chances with. The chips that came with it were OK - nothing special. I ate a few of them because I remained a little hungry after the burger tried its best to put me off my food.
The Caesar Salad was deplorable. I've never seen a Caesar salad as bad as this one. The lettuce was the same unwashed bagged shredded lettuce that looked more like coleslaw, the egg yolk was runny and cheap dried bacon bits and stale croutons (chewy rather than crunchy) and way to much dressing.
The two cans of Coke we bought were sealed and had nothing to do with the kitchen - so they were fine.
The floor looked like it needed a good mop and generally overall the decor looked very run down. There was a very limited cake selection available in the cake cabinets - no telling how old they are though....
We left in disgust. If you want to waste your money and time whilst putting yourself off being hungry - this is the place to do it. Otherwise - avoid it.
As we walked out, one of the staff asked me what was wrong... come on - really? Do I have to explain it? You delivered this mess to the table.. I'm shocked that they were surprised that we weren't going to eat this terrible food.
