I seldom write review, when I do, it means I'm serious. Came here for brunch before and I thought it was not bad. Visited again with my friends for dinner this evening. Ordered a bottle of wine, the staff hastily poured the wine and spilled some on the table. Bad experience started with we had to wait 1 hour for our main dishes. Not sure if the order was even placed to the kitchen when we ordered or only when we asked for our food. People from other tables came later than us but they already got their food.
I ordered "Tasmanian grass fed, free range porterhouse steak, char grilled to your liking served on french potato mash and beef jus". Presentation was not appetizing. I asked for rare, but it was served blue.
I sent it back to the kitchen to ask to cook it 2nd time. Served again it was still partly blue but the surface of the steak had already dried out. I could only eat a tiny piece that wasn't so blue.
I gave my feedback to the management, we almost argued, they insisted it was rare not blue the 2nd time. Maybe they couldn't tell what is blue/rare. I was charged full price for the dish, I asked for discounts for the steak as it was almost inedible, the management unwillingly gave $20 off.
No high expectations for family restaurant, but it was a terrible experience. Food was over priced with substandard service.
I will never visit again. Period.
