    The girls at California Nails are great--fast, efficient and they get the job done well. I went in with a girlfriend to try shellac nails done for the first time. While there wasn't a huge selection of colours, there were a couple of colours I really liked. I went for a deep purple and the girls did a perfect job. Cuticles were tidy and my nail polish lasted for three weeks, at a very reasonable price of $40.

    I came back a week later to get a pedicure, and again, the service was great. Unlike some other nail salons where the girls are talking to each other in another language (probably about you), these girls were extremely friendly and polite.

    Will definitely return!

    This is the equivalent to a mani & pedi 'takeaway' - you're in and out quickly and with fabulous looking hands and feet. As it is situated in the heart of Darlo, you're more often than not confronted with the occasional strange customer, however the staff are fantastic, polite, thorough and friendly.
    They use OPI, which is always a winner and usually have the latest trashy mags at your disposal. It is cash only, so make sure you're cashed up - alternatively they do let you quickly step out to go to the nearby ATM (Commonwealth or ANZ)

    I like that a booking isn't necessary, and the girls are all business & no chit chat. They are still very polite & professional - but, it's certainly no gossip hub.

    I go semi-regularly for a pedicure & manicure as it's close to work & the prices are fair. The surroundings are basic, though clean & functional.

    Give them a crack - it's a good lunch-time drop in joint. Bring cash as they don't accept cards to keep prices low. Enjoy!

    Arguably, the best pedicure in Sydney!! Staff are always friendly and they can usually fit you in without a booking - which is great when you get a sudden urge for a mani or pedi during the day!

    Did a great job on my eyebrows! Didn't have to wait or make a booking - I was straight in and out and only $15. Lots of magazines around too for me to read while I waited for my sister to get hers done too.

    If you are looking for a quick pedicure or manicure and happy to forgo the day spa experience, then this is a good place to go. They are quick, thorough and cheap. They will have your feet looking sandal ready in no time. Note they only take cash so go to the ATM first.
