    I heard about Cam The Handyman on Truelocal, after being spoken to rudely on the phone - as if I was wasting their time - they finally came out, LATE. I understood about their lack of punctuality as no 'handymen' are ever on time, and even though they brag about 'No Job To Small' when I asked them to do a job they said it 'really wasn't worth their time'.

    The work they did was terrible, and it looks really bad, when I inspected the work I voiced my concerns of the bad job, and they got angry and told me it was what I asked for and that if I didn't pay they would 'come back'. I then asked to see their licenses, which they failed to show me. I payed because I was scared.

      I ceased to trade as Cam The Handyman over a year ago. No-one should be pretending to work for my company or misrepresenting themselves as working for me. My advice to you [StormFan] is to contact the police as it sounds as though you were intimidated and this is unacceptable. Cam.

    Once again, an excellent job. We were actually in a bit of a bind,and Cam came to the rescue. All work done to a high standard, and without any down time for our business, which was a HUGE bonus. And he didn't charge the earth because it was an urgent job either. This is the only guy we'll use from now on. Thanks Cam.

    Thanks once again for another job well done. I couldn't be happier. Cam moved my sheds [ two of them] re-floored them, and put a new door on one of them. Everything was great, and he painted them too. Would recommend to everyone, and will use again. Thanks Cam.

    After reading so many positives reviews I thought I would give them a try and asked for him to put in a shed floor. He was on time, he was polite but the job he did was terrible. Unfortunately I paid him up front (as I trusted him) and he did not complete the job as we had discussed, the work that was done was extremely poor and I now have to pay someone else to do the job as I can not even get the door open on my shed as it is not level. Very disappointed.

      This is both false and defamatory. You have claimed, in writing, that the work as defined and approved by yourself, was never completed. Now you are stating that these works were completed but were unsatisfactorily. This is untrue, as is the claim that I was paid up front. It is not my practice to accept pyt before completion of any work. As was stated following your previous contact, the work was defined by yourself, you agreed to the quote and after the work was completed, you inspected said work and paid the account in full.
      A full week after completion that you contacted me and said that your father was upset that he had not been asked to do the work himself.
      My business is built on my reputation, which is damaged by baseless complaints. I have again taken advice on this matter and ask that you retract this defamatory review. If this is not done immediately, I will pursue all legal avenues open to me.

    We are penshioners and we had Cam paint our front room, and repair our fences. We couldn't have been happier. Much lower price than the other three quotes my wife got, and the work was done to a really good standard. Very personable young man too. Thank you.

    As smallbusiness owners, my husband and I really needed someone who could carry out all our mainetenence and building needs at all three of our sites. Saw ad on Truelocal, and was really happy to meet Cam. Really nice guy, and does all the work we need done, at a very reaonable rate. Would happily recommend him to anyone [and have done !]
