After having such an awesome brunch at this place on a weekend couple of months back, I decided to come back to Canopy on Hyde for lunch on a normal weekday and see how their lunch fare up compared to my previous visit.
As soon as I entered, I was immediately greeted. This time the place was a little less busy, and the staffs seemed friendlier and also attentive with all the service.
The lunch menu was far more extensive than their breakfast. It includes sandwiches with fries, pasta, pizza, salad, some meat-based mains and desserts. I decided to try out their beef cheeks and peas risotto. The dish did come a little long, but it was very beautiful and heart warming in taste, came with a very generous serving, and had a simple yet interesting presentation. The price was a little bit on the expensive lunch side, but it was worth paying.
