'Cantina Bar and Grill' is a restaurant in the heart of Sydney city (short walking distance from Oxford St and Taylor Square) that serve traditional Spanish tapas that also take influence from Morocco, Greece and Portugal. Not content with serving any one single cultural cuisine, head chef Adam Howe is dedicated to pushing the envelope by giving his dining public the full spectrum of Mediterranean dishes which he likens to "a walk through the streets of the Mediterranean."

In addition to tapas there are also a range of set menus, mains, desserts and a bar that serves (among other things) traditional sangria, cocktails and imported beers and wines. The restaurant specialises in group bookings and functions, so it's the perfect pick for your next big night out or group meal.

    Great tapas spot best enjoyed as a group. Went there on a busy Friday night, service was fast without being pretentious. The servings were perfect for our group of four but might be too small for larger groups. The waitress was very friendly, and was kind enough to point out which dishes we should get larger portions of or add another item to ensure everyone at the table was satisfied. The atmosphere was casual, food was delicious, especially the patatas bravas, and the staff were in no rush to see us leave, even when the restaurant was due to close!

    Great place for both small and big groups. The portions are a great size we had a group of 12 hungry monsters and still had food left over. The food was fresh & every dish was delicious. I would highly recommend dining here.

    The best tapas I have had in Sydney and this a big call for a food lover like me! The tapas was amazing, great portions and it just kept coming. We had the Seafood banquet and I could not fault any of the food. Well worth a try.

    We had my surprise party here and it was great! The waiters were great and played along so I had no idea until I heard the big 'surprise!'. This place has got the best tapas portions around, with all the food being delicious and super fresh! I would highly recommend a visit.

    Fabulous restaurant - fast service and the food is the best! Has a nice small outdoor courtyard upstairs, however this soon gets very packed with smokers and very uncomfortable.
