WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAVE TO GO THROUGH, I HAVE NEVER KNOWN A 'COMPANY' TO BE SO UNRELIABLE, UNTRUSTWORTHY, RUDE, DISORGANIZED AND DISRESPECTFUL!! I HAVE NEVER EVER BEEN TREATED SO HORRIBLE BY A COMPANY, I DONT KNOW HOW THEY ARE STILL IN BUSINESS, THEY SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN!
we have had countless of things missing, over a grands worth of damages!
IF THEY SAY THEY HAVE INSURANCE DONT BELIEVE THEM, THEY DONT! THEY WILL TRY AND GET AS MUCH MONEY AS THEY CAN POSSIBLE FROM YOU AND THEY WONT STOP! at first they seemed so nice and genuine, dont fall for it, once they have picked up your goods, they are impossible to get a hold of, they dont return phone calls, they run days to a week late and try and use every excuse in the book.
But once we got our things, we had non stop phone calls about payments, only a day later. they call at inappropriate times (12am ect).
we have asked them COUNTLESS of times what the name of their insurance company is called and they reuse the words 'Insurance Lady' OVER and OVER and REFUSE to tell us, they have threatened us, used inappropriate language in front of us and our kids, damaged our goods!! also once we got our things we noticed tool boxes had been opened and tools were missing, boxes were opened and they tried blaming as much as they could on us, saying it was our fault we had so much stuff and they couldnt load it up properly, even though we filled out an inventory and they came and saw how much stuff we had and said it wouldnt be a problem!
I SUGGEST YOU FIND SOMEONE ELSE AND AVOID GOING THROUGH THIS JOKE OF A 'COMPANY'!!!!!!!!! I HOPE THAT THIS SAVES SOME PEOPLE FROM THE HASSLES THAT WE HAVE HAD TO GO THROUGH!!! -

we recently moved interstate from QLD to Victoria. the quote from Cape Byron was the best one we received when we were hunting for quotes. we were sceptical initially having read their contradictory reviews but everything turned out to be great. the guys were very polite at every step of the way. they got to us at the promised time. all our stuff was neatly wrapped in blankets and moved safety. none of our stuff was broken or damaged. they were also very flexible with everything ( we wanted our stuff delivered one day later than the recommended date and they said they could arrange that ).will definitely approach CAPE BYRON for our next move. thanks Simon for making everything easy for us. -

Absolutely awful!!! My experience was a total nightmare.
Sounded very friendly and genuine at first but DON'T BE FOOLED!, as soon as you paid for the services, they are hopeless to get a hold of and is terrible in communicating any updates on the status of your removal.
Expect to be waiting hours for them to arrive, not to answer any calls, and when you FINALLY do get a hold of them, expect excuse after excuse about how it's out of their control or the classic "I'll call you back"... I waited over 12 hours for them to arrive and another 2 months to get my stuff back!
This business is a joke and it's customer service is non-existent.
Never using them again, ever, ever, ever...ever! -

Not happy!
They are lovely and seem helpful at first until you pay for your removal. They will tell you dates for pick up and drop off then not commit afterwards. Good luck contacting them when they don't show up on the day they stated, as they don't answer either phone line.
When you complain they try to blame you and get angry. Bad customer service! Will never use them again.
