Caravanserai is a Turkish restaurant that serves up its cuisine by candlelight over looking Brisbane River. Their menu offers seafood, steaks and many vegetarian options. Desserts look very tempting. A banquet menu is also available. It hosts a very traditional settings and decoration. A good venue for group bookings, parties and functions.

Please note corkage $2.50/person.

When we went a few weeks ago it was so NOISY. There was a massive family holding a birthday party and you couldn't hear the person sitting next to you! Having said that though the food was wonderful, all members of my family were satisfied. I'd probably go again. But with earplugs this time.

Fantastic food: Lamb shanks and the banquets are to die for.. I never know which one to choose. Always soooooo busy there but the wait staff are great.

A great place to eat in West End. If you can get a seat out the back on the verandah the view is great but don't worry as the food is what you will be there for. Wonderful meditteranean / Turkish fare. The desserts are particularly seductive along with the range of special coffees and teas.

With a decade behind it, the quality of food remains high at this friendly eatery. The atmosphere is warm, exotic, and candle-lit at night. There’s a back veranda with lovely views and the cuisine is rich and aromatic. Try the Istanbul platter for two, overflowing with prawn skewers, succulent lamb cutlets, chilli mussels, octopus, salads and dipping sauces. Banquets are available, with a Tuesday special for $23.50pp. Mains average: $22.
