Cardiac Stress Testing

ABOUT CARDIAC STRESS TESTING :

Cardiac Stress Testing examines cardiac health in those with a high risk of heart disease. We perform Stress Electrocardiograms (not Echocardiograms). A Stress Electrocardiogram, exercise on a treadmill with electrodes attached to the chest wall, assesses cardiac function.

Heart disease is effecting more people, at a younger age. Risk factors include high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, excessive stress, long hours, smoking, decreased physical exercise or a family history of heart disease.

Dr Falk has been involved in cardiac health since 1989. He regularly assists Cardiac Surgeons. The clinic is located at 86 Juliette St, Greenslopes - 3kms from the CBD.

Patients need NO referrel for an appointment, and the testing is Bulk Billed, (subject to a Medical assessment )
