    I was invited to The Carringbush for a work lunch and to be honest when i arrived and entered through the public bar I thought it was a very poor choice for a business lunch. It does feel like any inner city pub on arrival but when taken to the dining room I was pleasantly surprised.

    It definitely isn't a traditional pub menu with the a short list of main options (all of which sounded amazing). There were only two other tables in the dining room and the food cam our very quickly and was very well presented. I chose the pork and it tasted better than it looked (and it looked delicious). It wasn't a boozy lunch so I didn't pay much attention to the wine list but the service and decor matched that of any mid-high end restaurant.

    From memory mains ranged from $30 - $47 but the food is definitely worth it - this is not traditional Pub grub. Well worth checking out.
