Beautiful food, busy, noisy cafe atmosphere. If you're looking for an unpretentious dining experience, and love good Italian food, then this is the place to go. Waitstaff could be more attentive with drinks, water and clearing away the tables, however we didn't have to wait long for our food when we ordered. Great prices, a big lunch for 6 people including antipasto and some coffee and deserts came to a total of $180 - hard to find better value than that. Be warned the serving sizes are very generous, and the meals are hearty, rich, authentic italian, so if you're looking for a light meal, you won't find much on the menu.

As with other comment, this restaurant is fantastic, our favourite it Perth. The entree of grilled sausage, cheese and olives is a pet favourite...ordered every time and the veal boscaiola is the BEST I've ever had. Prices are VERY low (almost everything under $20) but they actually keep the quality HIGH. Been there more than 15 times over 3 years...and NEVER had a bad nibble. They are in the Entertainment Club Book (25% off total bill, I think) which makes a cheap meal just ludicrously cheap so give it a bash. As also noted, it is busy every day and noisy as there are usually a fair few vocal italians running around the place! So definitely not what you'd use to propose...but if you want a great atmosphere, raucous crowd, brilliant food and amazing prices have a bash. Remember to book well ahead, and ask for wall side, or outside, or whatever you wish. Unlike the other reviewer I've always been pleased with the service - not intrusive, but attentive enough. Now I'm getting hungry!!

If its great tasting quality food you are after then look no further. Fabulous, fabulous, fabulous. Bring all your friends because they will love it too. Service could be a little more attentive but the quality, generous portions and most of all, the prices makes this one of my favourite italian cafes in Perth.

On the downside, you need to shout to be heard so this is probably not the place for the intimate evening, especially on the weekends.

The place is always packed and is it any wonder? I actually regret writing this review, because I don't want anyone to find out about this little gem.
